Fender American Deluxe Ash Stratocaster

The Fender American Deluxe Series ran to 2016, and held the position as the finest instruments in the Fender catalogue outside the Custom Shop Models. These guitars were superceded by Elite, and then Ultra models. As the premier production model, the Deluxe carried features that are still found on the more expensive current models, such as

• Compound radius fretboard, allowing greater comfort along the entire fretboard;
• Noiseless pickups, these are N3 pickups, which mute the interference suffered by regular single-coil pickups without killing the tone;
•  S1 switch in the volume control, which provides five additional sounds to those found on a regular Stratocaster;
• Two-point tremolo bridge with pop-in tremolo arm, unchanged in the later models;
• Locking tuners, enabling string changes to be carried out quickly and effortlessly;
• ‘No-load’ tone control, allowing signal to by-pass the tone control;

This example is in excellent condition. It has had one owner from from new, and has been played only occasionally. The previous owner went to the trouble of having this guitar checked by a trusted technician - the invoice is attached. We have re-checked the guitar and found that it is excellently set up.

The guitar comes in its original Fender case, which is in virtually unmarked condition. All the case contents are present, including the hex wrenches and keys for the case.

If you aspire to owning a top-of-the-range Stratocaster but do not consider that the marginal improvements found on Elite and Ultra models are worth the extra outlay, this guitar will meet your needs.
