This is a Custom Classic Player Player Stratocaster, made in Fender's Custom Shop in 2000 and finished in Candy Apple Red. It is in excellent condition, and gives everything a player can expect from a Custom Shop instrument, with fabulous materials and build quality. With Vintage Noiseless pickups, and locking tuners, this is equal to any professional requirements.
The neck is of particular note. Made from a superlative piece of birds eye maple by Fender Custom Shop neck specialist Herbie Gastelum, it is a joy to play, and adds great visual appeal.
The instrument is heavy by Stratocaster standards, contributing to the guitars long sustain and substantial feel.
The guitar came to us without papers, but we have checked with Fender US and an authorised UK main dealer, and they were happy to issue a replacement Certificate of Authenticity. Similarly, we have procured a Custom Shop case for this guitar, like the one in which it would have originally shipped.
